Chapter
1 - Golden Eagle
I
am flying around
looking
for something to eat
I
feel a pain
I
look to my right
Where
is my wing?
I
feel confused
My
head is starting to spin
My
energy is fading fast
I
am falling to the ground
A
warmness is flowing over me.
Strange
- the rain should be cold…
I
am getting specks on my eyes
of
amber and dark blue
I
look for my wing again
All
I see is blood dripping down
What
the hell is happening to me?
I
hear my bones crack as I hit the ground
Blood
seeps out of my veins
My
life is fading fast
How
did I come to this?
I
had a full life ahead of me
Silence
is all I hear…
My
body moulds to the ground
My
lungs are no longer full
is
this the end?
Is
this all there is to death?
Just
a last breath of air
The
last spark of energy is gone
The
silence is now complete…
The
bird is lying there dead
Feathers
soaked in the rain
Blood
seeping every where
Mud
turning red
Sky
turning dark grey
BUT WAIT
The
sun is starting to peep through clouds
There
is an energy in the air
The
dead bird’s body is starting to stir …
My lungs are starting to heave
My claws are starting to move
My wings are starting to flap
There’s a tingle in my veins
There’s a prickle in my claws
There’s air in my lungs
The wind is gathering me up
The dead bird is once again in the sky
Like
a ball of energy from the sun
Soaring
over mountains and valleys
He
needs no food this time
He
survives on gold from the sun
Golden
Eagle is his name
He
soars through the skies
Looking for sadness -
Looking for death to turn in to life again
As he was once DEAD!
